WIP on Fire Raptor

Bit of a work in progress here. I have been experimenting with chipping and weathering effects for my Imperial Fists Legion. 

I finally have got around to getting the primer and undercoats on one of my Fire Raptors...

This thing was a pain to assemble but at the same time easier than the Storm Eagle

First up was German Red Brown Oxide Primer from Vallejo

Next up was the application of Burnt Umbra and RML Brown to create a mottled effect

The results are sealed with varnish ready for chipping effect to be applied.
